When all the MS updates pushed through - my brightness setting and keys stopped working. I tried all the usual options listed on sites - update drivers etc but non of them worked.
What I dended up doing was actually going to the HP site and downloading the origonal drivers that came with my laptop and reinstalling them - the process prompts you to say that the current drivers are newer than the ones your about to install - I simply accepted that and went through with the installation.
